Singapore has a wealth of well-equipped core microscopy facilities within a relatively small area. The Singapore Light Microscopy Facilities Network (SLMFN) fosters interaction between the different facilities by providing a regular forum for staff to meet and network. Established by Dr. Graham Wright (IMB, A*STAR) the network is now coordinated by a commitee. Meetings take place every 2 months at different venues across the island and are supported by host institutes and microscopy companies.
